Tips to protect hearing

Wear earplugs when you go to large events. These can range from affordable foam earplugs you can purchase at the pharmacy, to high-end, frequency-specific, custom-moulded earplugs. Wearing earplugs is especially important if you are often at loud events.

Wear noise-cancelling headphones. It is a normal instinct to want to turn up your earbuds or headphones when the surroundings are loud, but this leads to overamplification, and can lead to hearing loss more quickly.
